White Card Training

Anyone performing construction work in Australia is required to have successfully completed a Work Safely in the Construction Industry course prior to starting work. This accreditation is also known as the White Card Course or White Card Training.

This induction training is a requirement under Work Health and Safety (WHS) Regulations.

Course Delivery Method

White Card training with ATA is conducted face-to-face over approximately 6 hours. These courses are conducted at our facility on the last Sunday of every month, or by appointment.

White Card Course Content

The Work Safely in the Construction Industry (White Card) course consists of four (4) components:


 Identify OHS legislative requirements

 Identify construction hazards and control measures

Identify OHS communication and reporting processes

 Identify OHS incident response procedures

Outcome

Following the successful completion of this course, you will a) be issued with an Occupational Health and Safety Construction (OHS) Induction Card (otherwise known as the White Card). b) receive a Statement of Attainment for CPCCOHS1001A Work Safely in the construction industry. c) be issued with a laminated White Card upon successful course completion.
